26 JULY 2024, MALAMULELE T OWN HALL, LIMPOPO

SAME cordially invites you and members of the Media House to attend the graduation award ceremony for 30 unemployed graduates turned directors of Nonprofit companies. The event will be held in Limpopo, Malamulele town hall in the Collins Chabane local municipality. Honorable Premier, Dr. Phopi Ramathuba, is expected to grace the August event and give Keynote address. We further request media coverage and grant interviews to the graduates and the respective leadership that will attend.

The social entrepreneurship training was held in February and out of the 30 graduates, 24 are from Limpopo;
Vhembe district :19
Mopani: 2
Capricorn: 2
Sekhukhune:1
Mpu (Ehlanzeni) :1
Northwest (Ngaka Modiri) :1
KZN (uMgungundlovu and Ethekwini ) : 2
Eastern Cape (OR Tambo)
Gauteng (City of Joburg Metro): 1

The 30 participants have successfully completed their training and have commenced with mentoring sessions which SAME will continue to provide for 12 months and until they are fully functional to run their own NPCs. They have all been assisted in registering their own NPCs to mitigate the high unemployment. We are hoping that as their companies continue to render services and grow, they will become potential employers for other unemployed graduates in the province.

The purpose of the graduation award ceremony is to affirm and congratulate the 30 for not giving up, and to allow the community leaders to recognize the value these young people can add to society as future employers and service providers. Most importantly, the community needs to hear about the programs that their Non-Profit Companies will be rendering to mitigate the increasing
social challenges. The new directors also need to hear about pockets of funding support and
economic growth stimulus opportunities offered by LEDET, LIEDA, SEF, etc. We are expecting at least 300 guests from the house of traditional leaders, social development district office managers, academia, and members of the community.

The Presence of the Media will be highly appreciated.
